We do have two confirmed hitch fits for the 2017 Cadillac XT5 that you can see on the linked page. Both of the 2-inch Class III hitches we have for this vehicle, the etrailer # e62AR and the Curt # C13285, offer no-drill installation and include all required mounting hardware. An installation video is linked for you.
Trailer hitches are custom-fit items that usually are not interchangeable between vehicles. There are exceptions, such as with sister brands like GMC and Chevrolet, where there can be common hitch fits because both use the same frame. Sometimes a hitch will fit multiple years of one specific vehicle, but a hitch made for a Cadillac will not fit on a Ford vehicle. Also, there are no sort of adapter kits that allow a hitch to mount on a vehicle for which it was not intended.
For reference I have linked our page showing hitch fits for the 2014 Ford Escape. If you care to confirm the year/make/model/version of all the vehicles, you are concerned with I will be happy to check for any common hitch fits.
