Question:
Im very interested in the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger for my 2005 e46 M3 which is currently using an optima red top. My question is, what is the best method of attachment for my particular set up? I see there are multiple options available. I was thinking the eyelets for a semi-permanent method of attachment, or maybe the cigarette lighter? Id appreciate any advice you can provide. Thank you,

The CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger w/ Pulse Maintenance and Backup Power, # CTEK56353, is an excellent charger and maintainer. It is maintencence free and utilizes an 8-step system to constantly monitor and maintain 12V battery charge. For connection, I recommend using the quick-disconnect system with the eyelet-terminal cable to permanantly attach to your battery terminals. This will give you the quick plug function and will prevent you from needing to double check connections each time and has a cap to keep moisture and debris out. This will make for the best connection between the charger and your battery.
If you want to go with the cigarette lighter adapter and use your vehicle's wiring to the battery, the CTEK Comfort Connect Cigarette Plug Charger Cable, # CTEK56263 will work well inside your vehicle. The charger is rated for indoor or outdoor use, and this is the easiest connection option for most people.
