Question:
Im considering installing the AL57268 kit for load-leveling when towing my boat/trailer, however my truck has outboardinch mounted shocks right behind the rear wheels rather than the usual inboardinch shocks on most F-150s. Does this affect the installation of this kit? Thanks.

The Air Lift rear-axle air bag kit # AL57268 is a confirmed fit for the 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4.
I reviewed the installation instructions (which are linked for you) and I saw nothing to indicate any issue with installing this kit in a pickup with outboard-mounted rear shocks.
There is an alternative you might consider, a jounce spring kit. Jounce spring kits typically cost far less than air bags, are much easier to install and require no maintenance at all. A bolt-on kit like Timbren # TUR100 will add 3000-lbs of load support for your rear suspension when you're towing but when unloaded they will let you keep your normal ride quality. They offer progressive resistance that stiffens more as the load increases and each bag works independently.
