Adapter Recommendation for 2017 Ram 3500 with Rail Kit for Using Demco Hijacker
Question:
I have already purchased the Demco Hikacker 21k sliding 5th wheel and the adapter for the OEM prep package from etrailer. I have a 42foot 5th wheel that I will be towing. Is there anything else that I will need to safely maneuver the trailer? Or, will this give me the clearance I need to execute a 90 degree turn?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the correct adapter to use your Demco 21k Hijacker part # DM8550035 in the bed of your 2017 Ram 3500 with the factory rail kit is the part # DM6099 that you referenced. This would be all that you need to use the hitch.
