Question:
Good morning, Need trailer lights red and amber SAE p2 97 D.O.T. Can I order online?

Expert Reply:
To order trailer lights you will want to order by part number on your lights or by the size of the light you will need. The SAE stands for the Society of Automotive Engineers and the 97 DOT stands for the Department Of Transportation. These part numbers are usually on the lenses of most all trailer lights.
You will want to get a Brand name (Bargman, Peterson, Wesbar) and the part number (40-38-001, 154R, 221902) that is on your light to be able to get the correct light for your trailer. We also list the dimensions of the lights on the item pages of the trailer lights.
If you find some other numbers on your lights, or the size you need, you can order them online.
