Question:
I have a 2017 Forest River Cardinal 3250 with the Morryde RHB72-1621-TA pin box and I would like to replace with the Trail Air Rota Flex 18k pin box. Is this an acceptable change out and will this change fit my application? Thanks

The first thing you will want to do is go out to the pin box that is now installed on your Forest River Cardinal 3250. There should be a make and model number on it, if it is a Lippert 1621 or 1621HD then the Trailair Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Box Pin # LC328330 pin box will be able to replace your current pin box. Based on the part number of your existing pin box, it was most definitely a 1621 originally.
Something else that I recommend getting is our etrailer.com 5th Wheel Trailer King Pin Lock # e98896. This will help deter theft and removal of your king pin from your 5th wheel hitch.
