Draw-Tite has confirmed that their 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch # 24926 is a confirmed fit on the gas-engine 4-door Jetta sedan so long as it is not the TDI or Hybrid version. The hitch comes with all required mounting hardware; the written instructions and an install video are linked for you.

This hitch allows you to use compatible 1-1/4-inch Class I accessories such as a 2-bike rack or a cargo carrier.
