The kit we offer that is designed for filling an RV propane tank with an auxiliary tank is the MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Deluxe Sturgi-Stay Propane Adapter Kit # 103615 which is designed for exactly what you are describing. This allows you to tee into a secondary propane source as needed.
