The Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2 Inch Receiver # D210 will mount on to your 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser as long as you have a hitch with a 2x2 inch opening.

However, it looks like there will be a clearance issue when trying to open the rear hatch door with the mounted spare tire. An employee here at etrailer.com has the same vehicle with a hitch. I measured the distance from the hitch to the spare and found that the if you used the Curt ball mount # D210 you will not be able to open the door. The distance from the hitch to the bottom of the spare tire measured 6-1/2 inches. The top part of the ball mount # D210 measure almost 6-1/2 inches from the hitch. The top of the mount would almost touch if not touch the bottom of the spare tire making you unable to use the door with the ball mount installed.

If you could explain to me why you are trying to use this ball mount, I would be happy to help to try and find an alternative solution to your problem.
