Question:
Hello. I just purchased a hitch and wire harness for my 2016 Chevy Spark LT. Currently I have a small utility trailer to tow so I needed the hitch and a 4 way wire right away. Im looking at a tiny camper trailer a sub-700 lb A Liteinch folding camper and I think it has a 7 way connector because the trailer has electric brakes. Id like to use the Curt C57674 so it has a clean installation, and Im obviously going to need a brake controller. Can you tell me all the parts Im going to need between the brake controller, battery, and back to the 7-way harness? Also, what is the routing of all the wires? I assume Im going to have to drill through some parts on the car to get it all routed. I think I saw a video on your site before maybe with a Chevy Luminathats basically what Im trying to do here. Thanks.

We can help you get your 2016 Chevrolet Spark LT all set for towing a camper trailer that is equipped with electric drum brakes. Since you already have a hitch and 4-pole wiring all you will need is the brake controller itself and an installation kit.
I recommend the Prodigy P2 brake controller # 90885 for its easy set-up and for its proven reliability. Check out our customer reviews of this outstanding product. To install it you will use our brake controller installation kit # ETBC7, which includes the 7-way socket for the Spark and all wiring components and connectors required. You do not need to purchase anything else but these two items.
I have linked both an install video and a help article concerning installation of the # ETBC7. These will help you with the routing of the main duplex cable (supplied with the kit).
Please refer to your owner's manual for guidance on towing a trailer with this vehicle.
