Question:

My motor home has a pre-wired ROUND plug from my previous tow bar setup. I have a Blue Coiled cord with ROUND PLUGS on each end. The one to the motorhome is round and larger in diameter than the one that pluged into the Jeep front bumper. The harness recommended by you was a FLAT FOUR . I would prefer to keep the round plugs, so can you provide me the kit part that does that.

How many pins does the connector have on your tow vehicle? If there are six total pins including the center pin you would want the part # BX88206. If instead there are 4 pins on the smaller connector you would want the part # BX88254.

Why does my night running lights fail to work when my rv lights are on.

There are a few possible reasons why the night tail lights aren't working on the towed vehicle, but the most likely cause is a weak or bad ground. Since these lights require a bit more power than the turn signals or brake lights, a weak ground might only be showing itself when this function is activated. Check to make sure the harnesses on both the vehicle and RV are securely grounded to a clean, bare metal surface without any corrosion or debris.
