Question:
Why do you not list the TH45JV as a fit for the convertible 3 series? It is recommended for the other models. Is there a difference and if the Thule 45JV will not work what do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
We do not list the OutWay bike racks as a fit for the 2013 BMW 3-Series convertibles because Thule does not list them as a fit. While it can physically be mounted on the vehicle Thule has deemed that it is not an ideal fit so excluded it for the convertible models.
For a similar bike rack that does fit you can use the Saris Bones, # SA805BL. I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
