Can RV with Sidewinder Pin Box be Moved Around RV Yard

Question:

What is the best way to tow a Sidewinder equipped RV in a repair or storage RV yard? Many yards use a tow dolly or fork lift to move their 5th wheels in the yard. That method could produce unstable results when a Sidewinder is involved because of inadvertent movement ot the Sidewinder arm. I have had my Sidewinder for 2 years and love it. I have used it in many unusual conditions and it has performed perfectly.

You would need to lock out the # RP61412 Sidewinder if it's going to be moved around a yard with a fork lift or tow dolly.

You will need to look under the turret. There will be 2 bolts or just bolt holes. These holes are for two 3/4 inch grade 5 bolts and nuts and will prevent the turret from rotating. Take a look at the instructions I have linked on page 6 for more on the lock out feature.
