Question:
Will this work with an electric winch for pulling a boat onto a trailer on a boat ramp? The boat is 5000 lbs.?

You can use pulley block # BDW20004 for your winching needs but it is rated at 4,000 pounds so if at any time the full weight of the boat is on the block it would exceed the capacity. For a higher capacity option I recommend # CU881081 which is rated for 6,000 pounds
