Question:
Will this work with wire rope #BDW20102, or is there a snatch block more suited for that? Ive read that if the groove in the wheel of the snatch block is too big, it can damage the wire rope. I need a snatch block that can handle 5/32inch wire rope.

The Bulldog Winch Snatch Block # BDW20049 does not technically have a minimum wire size, but it does have a maximum wire diameter of 3/8". This would likely work fine with your 5/32" wire # BDW20102, however, a more appropriate snatch block for the 5/32" wire would be Bulldog Pulley Block for Powersports # BDW20004 which can handle maximum wire diameter of 1/4". This block is rated a 4,000lbs break strength and 1,600lbs working load limit which is comparable to your 5/32" winch wire that is rated at 2,000lbs working load limit.
I attached a couple demonstration videos for you to check out.
