The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring Kit # F2101 is a confirmed fit on the 4-door version of the 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe. My contact at Firestone advised that the 2-door Tahoe is not listed as a fit but he did not have the specific information as to why.
We do offer rear-axle jounce spring kits that work on your Tahoe. If you have 2WD use kit # TGMRYT2 or for 4WD use # TGMRYT4. Both kits provide 2000-lbs of load leveling capacity and install without any drilling.
