How to Increase Clearance Between Trailer Axle and Frame

Question:
Change my axles on my trailer from 2 in squre to 2 3/8 round now the distance is not enough between frame and axle. if i use your 4000 lb axle will it give more room. My current springs are 1750 and tired. I have now 3 1/2 in BETWEEN AXLE AND FRAME . Springs are 26 in, also tantum axles

Gong with a 4,000 pound axle isn't going to be your solution. Your best bet is either installing the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Kit # K71-384-00 which will essential move your springs to be on top of the axle and give you more clearance.
Another option is to replace your hangers with a longer size to increase the distance.
