Im looking for a jack that will allow my tailgate to open without hitting the jack.

Unfortunately we do not have a jack that mounts in the A-frame location on your trailer that would allow you to be able to fully open your tailgate but I may have a solution for you.
I recommend a jack like part # HD50000101. This is a sidemount square leg jack that has a weight capacity of 5,000-lbs. This jack attaches to the frame of your trailer and comes with 3 sets of different size U-bolts that can be used on different sized trailer frames. You can mount this on the trailer frame so that you can open the tailgate without interference.
