Question:
Somehow I managed to lose one of the brass pocket nuts for my 21000 model TracRac rails. I understand that TracRac has changed this product from brass to steel. Steel is an unacceptable change, as the stainless steel bolts will, over time and galvanic action, weld to the steel. I dont suppose you have NOS brass pocket nuts?

I reached out to my contact at TracRac for you to see if the brass pocket nuts are still available. They told me that the factory that made them closed many years ago and they have made the steel replacements every since. They have not had anyone contact them with concerns over galvanic corrosion, so they don't believe you will have any issue.
For your TracRac Rails, you will need the Replacement Hardware Kit for TracRac SR Ladder Rack Base Rails - Long Bed Trucks, # TAHD-21000-A or # TAHD-21501 for Short Bed Trucks, and the Replacement Rubber Block for Base Rail Installation # TARB-11032-1.
