What are the methods of securing into the bed? Can a cross bar be used if the box is up against the front bed wall?

The DeeZee Specialty Series Chest Style Plastic Storage Box # DZ6537P is intended for use as a free-standing storage box so it does not include any mounting hardware. There are certainly many potential ways to mount it to a truck bed. You can use hardware the goes through the bottom of the box into the bed (provided there are no under-bed clearance issues at your mounting location) or you could use any number of other methods, such as a crossbar between the bed rails that holds the box against the cab.
