Replacement 7-way Trailer Connector on 2008 Toyota Tacoma With Factory Tow Package
Updated 10/06/2016 | Published 10/05/2016 >
Question:
My 08 Tacoma has a factory tow package with the 7 pin connector hanging below the bumper. It got hit and broke, but the right angle connector on the wiring harness is fine. Can I just hang this bracket and connector and plug in the old wiring harness connector to the back?

The Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975 can be mounted onto your 2008 Toyota Tacoma. If the connector on the rear of your truck is still good, and can plug into the new harness, it will work for you.
If you need to hardwire in the connector because it is damaged then you can use # HM40975-11998 that includes the same 7- and 4-way with a pigtail harness.
