Question:

I have a Reese 12065 class II receiver hitch 1.25 on my 2008 Toyota Sienna. It looks like that same hitch still fit the 2016 Sienna. I recently purchased a 2017 Sienna SE - which appears to be the exact same body as the 2016. will that hitch fit the 2017 model???

Sometimes a trailer hitch will fit multiple model years of a vehicle but other times one model year's difference can mean it won't.

Curt Class II hitch # C12065 fits various versions of the 2004 through 2016 Toyota Sienna. However this hitch is not a confirmed fit on the 2017 model year. For the 2017, the 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch that is confirmed to fit is Draw-Tite # 36513. Curt offers only a 2-inch Class III hitch for the 2017 Sienna, part # C13105. I confirmed this directly with Curt.

For a wiring harness for the 2017 Sienna you can use Curt 4-pole kit # C56106. Installation is shown in the linked video and the linked article will help you with your installation.
