Recommended Replacement E-Z Flex Equalizers For Tandem Trailer

Question:

Am looking at the Dexter E-Z flex system but can not find the correct one. My axle spacing is 33 inches. The equalizer from center bolt hole to center bolt hole is 7 3/4 inches. The shackles are 3 1/4 inches long. On the equalizer itself it has written on it EQ-E1 1207. This trailer has two 3,500 pound axles. Any help would be appreciated.

When looking for a replacement equalizer for your tandem trailer you will want to find an equalizer with dimensions similar to the equalizers you are replacing.

I recommend part # K71-653-00. These equalizers measure 7-3/4 inches center to center. Although this system says it is for 8,000 lb axles, you should have no problems due to the rubber core that helps make towing smoother by absorbing road shock.

The shackles that are included are 2-1/4 inches long so you may want to change those out for a size that works best with your trailer. I have attached a link to our website for shackles you can check out. You can use the filter on the page to find the right length you need.
