Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Thule Roof Racks - 84inch Long x 50inch Wide Will they work on a honda fit to carry at least two paintings in basket, each size 48x60x 2inch ? Im an artist and want to travel safely on highways when i need to deliver or puck up paintings.

The Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Thule Roof Racks, # SPS5084-T400, will work with all Thule roof racks including racks compatible with your Honda Fit. The only problem you may encounter is in the access of your rear hatch due to the overhang. I would recommend a smaller roof rack if it weren't dependent on your painting size. This rack will fit your paintings even two of them stacked within the 5" depth of the carrier, but they will be exposed to wind and weather without proper consideration. You may also want to get some straps like, # 317-412080.
