Installation of Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller on a 1995 International 4700

Question:
1995 International 4700 series truck air brakes and automatic tranny, is installation similar to install. on my old 1968 chevy C50 ? truck also has air suspension . I need to source a reciver hitch to mount to it. and a 7 blade vehical plug and pigtail to connect with existing one . thank you in advance

Yes, the installation of a brake controller is generally the same for vehicle's that have no factory tow package, which is what your 1968 Chevy C50 most likely needed as well. I have linked a Help Article on installing a brake controller from scratch for you to check out.
For your 1995 International 4700 series, I recommend the # ETBC7 kit this will transform a 4-way connection to a 7-way vehicle connection. If you currently don't have a 4-way connection then you will want # C59496. I have also linked a ETBC7 Help Article for you to reference.
The Tekonsha P3 # 90195, you were looking at, is a great proportional brake controller and one of my favorite's to recommend because of how reliable it is. The brake controller will include a universal adapter for connection inside the cab. You will need to find a dedicated brake light wire for the brake controller.
