Question:
Looking to lock some entry ports on some bulk trailers. The above lock and cable set appears to be exactly what we need to do the job - but I see nothing about a weather rating. Trailers travel the highways. Is this lock weather rated? Is there something like it that is? - - - - -Thanks

The Master Lock Armored Cable Gun Lock, # 107KADSPT, is designed as a gun lock and is not intended for all-weather conditions. Water and salt could cause corrosion of the steel components. Instead, I recommend separate locks and cable that are coated and/or made of corrosion resistant materials.
Take a look at Master Lock Covered Solid Body Padlocks, # 141T. These locks are constructed of corrosion resistant materials so would work well outdoors. I would use these locks with Master Lock 10-mm Braided Steel Cable, # 78DPF. The cable includes rust-resistant sleeves to protect it from the elements. I have included a video review that features this cable below.
