Question:

Do the standoffs have a fixed mounting point on the ladder or can they be moved up or down to match the mounting area on the rv? I need to replace a ladder on a 1998 Thor Windsport so I just wanted to know if would mount in the same area as the old one.

The four included stand-offs in the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder # LA-401 have fixed positions on the ladder. You can see this in the photo I linked for you which shows the stand-offs and the uprights where the stand-offs screw into place. We do offer 5-inch Replacement Ladder Support Pegs # 8535 which can be added for additional flexibility in your installation to allow you to match up the mounting points to the RV's structural/frame members.
