Question:

Thule RAc n Loc - I think 923 - looking for clip pin that holds rack upright and when removed allows the rack to fold down. 5/16inch or 8mm diam. Post is 2 3/8inch wide. Center of pin hole to post edge is 1. It is the small, silver pin in the picture and looks like your wire lock pin. The pins I found on your site were 1/4, 3/8inch or 1/2.

The original pin for that bike rack is discontinued but take a look at # 516-212TR. This is a 5/16 inch pin that has a useable span of 2-1/2 inches. You may need to bend the rounded keeper to better fit the rack though.
