Question:
How wide is the clevis opening of this hook. I need one that is 3/4inch wide to fit over the thimble on a which rope.

On the hook end of clevis hook # C81970 the opening is approximately 1-1/8 inches wide. The end with the pin it that you would attach to a rope or chain measures 5/8 inches wide.
