Question:
I am purchasing a trailer with an adjustable bulldog 2 5/16th coupler and need a lock for it. I have been looking at the BLTL-23 and DT25013. I was hoping you might be able to provide a little insight on which one is more popular for a Bulldog style coupler as well as which one offers a greater theft deterrent. Also, if I were to buy a wheel lock where would be a good place to start? I believe it will have either 205x15 or 225x15 tires on it. Thank you for your time.

The best type of lock for your Bulldog adjustable 2-5/16-inch trailer coupler depends on the coupler design. If you have a Bulldog Collar-Lok Coupler like BD028585 then I would go for the Blaylock Total-Encasement Coupler Lock # BLTL-23 over the Fastway # FA86-0015-318 simply because it fully surrounds the coupler. Deterrent value is high! If you have other trailers to lock, then in that case the flexibility of the Fastway could make it your better option. For just this one trailer, go for the Blaylock.
For a wheel lock for your 14- or 15-inch wheels I like the Rack'em # RA-25.
