Question:
Hello, I am trying to purchase a bike rack for my 2008 Ford Escape that will hold my bike. I do not need a two bike rack if a single is available, but price is my primary concern, as I am a graduate student moving across the country. It looks like a trunk mounted rack is what I will need, but I was wondering what my options are.

For a very low cost trunk mounted bike rack confirmed to fit your 2008 Ford Escape without a hitch the Saris Solo 1 part # SA102 is a great option.
I attached a review video for the rack for you to check out as well.
