Question:

i want to wire my 2016 wrangler unlimited sport for flat tow behind my m/h. but i also need to wire for a hitch that i added to the rear bumper of the jeep. im looking at the hopkins # hm56200 for the front. can i order one kit to accomplish both, or can i combine two to do the same?

There is no single wiring kit that will both allow you to flat tow your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport AND also function as a 4-pole trailer wiring harness for your Jeep to allow it to operate the lights on a towed trailer. At one time such items did exist for some vehicles.

But since there is a plug-in harness option for flat towing the Jeep, # HM56200 from Hopkins, it is not too hard to disconnect that harness when its time to tow your trailer using trailer wiring kit # 118416.

Another option is to use a set of easy-install magnetic lights like # RM-2120 when you flat tow. These do not require any modification to the vehicle as they remain electrically separate, and this type of kit would allow a standard 4-pole trailer harness to remain in place.
