Updated 06/29/2016 | Published 06/28/2016

Question:

I am looking to update my boat trailer with all submersible LED lights. Ive got the below items ed for the Stop/turn/tail, and for the amber marker lights Both clear lens LEDs - but I cannot find the matching lights in Red for the rear marker lights. I need lights that have the quick-connect plug and the grommet mount exactly what the amber version below has - but I cannot seem to find them. Amber marker lights AL91CAB stop/turn/tail: STL22RCB Let me know if you can help! thanks.

For boat trailers we recommend using submersible type lights which have a drain hole to allow water to exit the fixture. We also recommend always disconnecting the trailer connector before backing the boat into the water, even if you have submersible lights.

On the linked page you can view all submersible LED type grommet-mount lights that we offer. Usually a combination stop/turn/tail light like # STL111RB is employed.

I also included a link to a helpful article on the lighting requirements for trailers, which vary depending on the trailer's dimensions and weight. This will allow you to ensure your trailer is compliant with Federal law.
