Cargo Box to Clear XM Antenna and Hold Golf Clubs on a 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L with Rola Roof Rack

Question:

I have a 2016 Honda cr-v EX-L and am having issues finding the right cargo box to buy so it does not interfere with the XM radio antenna. If you have a solution, please suggest one. It appears I have about 11inch behind the back bar to the antenna. That being said, Ive started looking at bags. Are the straps on this adjustable so I can slide it more forward than backward? I have the Rola aero bars on the vehicle now. Need something to fit my golf clubs 48 and this could be the solution if it will fit. From the front bar to the antenna is 43.

Since you have 43 inches from the center of the front bar back to the antenna you can use the Thule Pulse Medium cargo box # TH614. Its clearance measurement is 42-5/8 inches from the center of the front bar back to the nearest obstruction. Internally the box is 63 inches long, 33 inches wide, and 14 inches tall. we have a 2016 MDX with hatchback - does this carrier have sufficient hatchback clearance? Thanks,

On your MDX you will just need to take a measurement from the center of the front crossbar back to where the hatch and roof meet. If this length is at least 42-5/8" there won't be any hatch interference with the Thule Pulse Cargo Box # TH614.
