Question:

Hi, Just want to check to make sure that the over the cab truck bed ladder rack / steel 800 lbs will fit my 4 door 2016 toyota tacoma. Looks like the perfect rack so just want to double check the fit. Any info would be great. Thanks,

As long as your 2016 Toyota Tacoma does not have the Deck Rail System, the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07707 will fit well and is a great choice for an over the cab rack. This ladder rack has a clamp-on installation that will not require you to drill into your truck bed. The included installation hardware will clamp around the lip at the top of the truck bed side rails.

The rack is made with a sturdy steel construction that features a black powder coat finish to resist corrosion, chips, and scratches. And, as you noted, the rack has a weight capacity of 800 pounds.

It is important to note that if you have a tonneau cover installed on your Tacoma, this ladder rack will not work on the truck. This is because the uprights clamp round the side of the truck bed rail cap in the same space that tonneau tracks occupy.
