I need to know what kind of wire I need to use for my Mitsubishi Outlander SEL AWC 2.4 2016

If your 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander has the tow package then you would need the part # C56296 that you referenced. If you do not have the tow package or do not want to mess with figuring out if you do the install harness part # C56189 will fit either way as it installs inline with the taillight harnesses.
The easiest way to determine if you have a tow package is to check the window sticker or call a Mitsubishi dealer with your VIN. Since your vehicle is so new you probably have the window sticker still.
