Can you mount the hotrod to the bed tracks the same way you can mount the clutch and driveshaft?

The RockyMounts HotRod Truck Bed Bike Carrier # RKY1087 mounts to the floor of a truck bed (or other similar surface such as a trailer deck) using user-supplied hardware of 1/4-inch diameter. My son uses this carrier for transporting his Trek bike in the bed of his pickup.
It does not share the bed rail mounting position of Rocky Mounts' DriveShaft SD and Clutch carriers.
