Will Replacement Planetary Gearbox Kit Work On Single-Speed Bulldog Landing Gear

Question:

Can this gearbox be used on a single-speed 12,000# Bulldog jack? I would rather not replace the entire jack it is almost brand new, but it is about all I can do to crank it its in a rather awkward position. Thank you,

I called my contact at Bulldog about the Replacement Planetary Gearbox Kit, part # BD500330.

They told me you can install this on your single-speed Bulldog jack. They said you would remove the old gearbox and replace it with the # BD500330, and may have to drill 4 holes to mate the gearbox up with your mounting plate but it will work find and actually turn your single-speed into a two-speed landing gear.
