Is cutting required on this product or does it slip on over the existing pipe?

The MagnaFlow Exhaust Tip, part # MF35213, slips over the existing tail pipe and bolts into place using the included band clamp. This item fits 3-1/2 inch OD exhaust pipes. You will not need to cut the existing exhaust pipe.
