Question:

Does this hitch step fit a 2014 250 Chevy Silverado that has a 2 1/2 inch hitch with a reducer to 2 inch . I found that some hitch covers do not go deep enough in the hitch to put the pin in .

Expert Reply:

I went out to our warehouse and took the # CARR183032 to one of our 2-1/2 to 2 inch hitch reducers # C45405 and found that they would work as long as the short end measuring 1-3/4 inches from the pin hole to the of the reducer was used.

The distance from the center of the two holes on the hitch cover measure 2-7/16 inches and 3-1/8 inches (see linked image). I would compare these to your hitches receiver end to center of pin hole to be sure.
