Question:
Im looking to install a hitch on my car and utilize it to tow a jet ski, is this possible or no ? Ive never towed with a car before let alone a front wheel drive car, I live in Florida so relitively flat roads and no hills, jet ski according to the manufacturer weighs approx 700lbs, being hauled on an aluminum trailer which shouldnt weigh much, at most 1000lbs which is what my car can tow per the manufacturer, any suggestions or recommendations for a first timer towing with a car.

We have exactly what you will need. But before that I wanted to thank you for looking up the towing capacity of your vehicle beforehand as that is a very important step many people ignore.
The Curt Class II hitch part # C121115 is confirmed to fit your 2015 Chevy Impala LTZ and would work well for your needs. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
If the trailer you plan to tow calls for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you would want the ball mount part # C45571 or for a 2 inch hitch ball part # C45572. For trailer wiring you would then want the part # C56188.
That would be all that you would need to get your towing setup going.
