I have side rails but no cross bars or pads yet. I wanted the hulevator system. Can I put square crossbars on the rails that extend out further? Does Thule make them? Could I then use the hulevator?

We have just what you would need to install the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 on your 2015 Subaru Forester with raised roof side rails.
You would need the Thule Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 and 53" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420. This will give you square crossbars that will allow you to attach the Hullavator. I attached an install video of this roof rack on a 2015 Forester just like yours.
