Question:
Im looking for the dimensions of the Hijacker 18k in-bed mounted. I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD short bed and I am curious how much room its going to take and if I will be able to close my tonneau cover with it installed.

As far as height goes for the Demco HiJacker 5th wheel hitch # DM8550034 the minimum measured up from the base rails in the truck bed is 15-1/4 inches. You should not have a problem closing the Tonneau cover on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD depending on the type of cover it is. Should there be an issue you can easily unpin the head from the base and set it aside.
The overall width is approximately 31 inches and the overall length is approximately 35 inches. I have included a picture showing these measurements for you.
