Availability of Hitch Cargo Carrier for a 2013 Hyundai Elantra

Question:

Looking for a cargo carrier for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. Needs to flip up when not in use, I will be in a crowded parking area. I have looked at several of your videos. Also, is the cargo allowed to hide the license plate? Thank you.

We have cargo carriers that would work on your 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT, but since the hitch you would have installed would be a Class I hitch there are no folding options I can recommend.

The Class I compatible carriers we offer like the part # C18110 do not fold up. Folding carriers tend to have a bit more movement which can be stressful on the lower capacity Class I hitches.

Technically the cargo or the carrier should not block the license plate but in most cases people aren't given trouble for that. But you would need to contact your local DMV for the final word on that in your area.
