Question:

I like the features offered on the Chinook vs. the XTC-2 however, it looks like the wheel trays are higher off of the ground than the XTC-2. Given the same vehicle and hitch, what is the difference? Trying to minimize lift height for heavier bikes.

On the Swagman Chinook # S64683 I calculate the distance from the top of the shank that fits into the receiver to the bottoms of the insides of the wheel trays to be approximately 5 inches. On the XTC # S64670 it is closer to 4 inches but that is deceptive since the wheel hoops don't have a bottom. Ultimately they are pretty close so if you like the Chinook it would not be much harder, if at all, than the XTC.
