Question:

I have a trailer that I built and the ramps are a little heavy around 100 pounds each 12inch wide x 84inch long. I have a 1inch Diameter pin as a hinge pin. I am looking for a torsion spring to help lift the ramps. Do you have anything that will help with this?

If it's a utility trailer with side rails I recommend you use the part # RS16933LH and # RS16933RH. An alternative if you have the side rails on your utility trailer is # RA-27C as it is designed for helping lift trailer ramps.

If you have an enclosed trailer you could use the part # CB250D96SHD as an overhead torsion spring to help lift the ramps. This is rated for 250 lbs capacity for an enclosed trailer ramp.
