Do Yakima LoadStop Brackets Have Maximum Spread Limitation

Using a yakima loadstop with the 58inch wide yakima crossbars - what is the maximum spread between the loadstops? The vehicle is a 2012 Scion xB. Thanks.

I spoke with my contact at Yakima and confirmed there is not a specified maximum spread for the LoadStop Brackets # Y05000.
The key things to keep in mind when deciding if you can carry a load on your roof rack is the weight capacity of your roof and if the load can be secured. You can check your owner's manual or local Scion dealer for the roof weight capacity. You will want to ensure your roof rack and the load on it do not exceed your vehicle's weight capacity.
I recommend using tie-down straps like the Yakima Cinch Straps with Padded Cam Buckles # Y05006 to secure the load to your crossbars.
