Question:
2012 Fusion Were do you run hot wire though fire wall?

Expert Reply:
On your 2012 Ford Fusion, look for a grommet or another wiring harness that is already going through the firewall. You may be able to run the power wire through the same location though it will likely be a tight squeeze.
I have a 2012 Ford Focus, not the same vehicle but similar. On the driver's side up against the firewall there is a wire running from the dash that goes through a square grommet through the firewall. Your Fusion likely has a similar set up. I took a picture of the one on my care for you so you know what to look for.
The other option is to carefully drill a hole to run the power wire though being careful not to drill through anything on the other side of the firewall.
