Longer Shank Availability for a Equalizer 2-1/2 inch Weight Distribution System
Question:
Im trying to find a shank to replace the one that came with my Equil-i-zer 12k lb weight distribution hitch, I believe the part number is 90-00-1200. Although your site has a lot of choices, Im afraid there are so many that Ive gotten myself confused. Im hoping that I can give you the differences that I need and you can advise me on my best option. I need the ball to be dropped at least 1 more inch, 2 would be better. I need the hitch to be 2and1/2 inch as I have a class V receiver. Any help you give me is greatly appreciated.......Ill be your best friend.

For a weight distribution shank that will give you additional drop you will want the Equal-I-Zer part # EQ90-02-4900. This will give you the ability to do up to 6 inches of drop. The current shank you would have would only be good for up to 1-5/8 inches of drop if you have the # FA92-00-1200 that you mentioned.
