Question:
Is there a connector to go from the lights to a normal round trailer connection?
asked by: Neil
Expert Reply:
It will depend on what you have as a normal round trailer connection on your vehicle. There is a 4 Round, 6 Round and a 7-Way Round connector.
If you have a round 7-Way Round connector on your tow vehicle and you are wanting to connect the 4-flat connector on the cargo carrier light kit, # 20174, to it, you can use the Hopkins Heavy-Duty Trailer Coiled Wire Adapter for 7-Way to 4-Wire Flat, # HM47065.
If you have a 4 round plug on your vehicle you can use the Hopkins Adapter 4 Round to 4 Flat, # 47465.
If you have a 6 pole round on your vehicle you will need the Hopkins Adapter 6 Pole to 4 Pole, # 37325, which will plug into the 6 pole and give you a 4-Flat connector.
